Emma's Dog House is the only place where I feel happy to leave my little Coco. She has a really good time with the other dogs and is obviously very happy there. I know Emma and her family always have the dogs best interests at heart and this gives me peace of mind whilst I'm away. I could not imagine anywhere better to leave my adored little Cockapoo.

I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am to have found Emma’s dog house, it is truly amazing.
When I set out on my quest to find a doggy daycare, I soon became very anxious with what was on offer. To me this was similar to finding a nursery for my children! I was not willing to leave my adorable and very spoilt pup with just anyone! Thankfully I found Emma and was totally blown away, her home is a million miles away from kennels that’s for sure!
Upon meeting Emma, I was struck by her calming nature and attention to detail! Her genuine love of dogs is apparent, and it was very clear that my dog’s welfare was paramount. Emma has a wealth of canine experience and has set up the most wonderful environment. Cosy welcoming home with every shape and size dog bed in the kitchen and lounge you could find and yes, your dog is allowed on the sofa or arm chair! Beautiful gardens leading down into the ‘play field’ with a mixture of agility equipment and secure double fenced boundary so no pup can go wandering off.
In the lead up to my booking Emma arranged 2 ‘settling in’ sessions showing again that my dog’s welfare was paramount. My dog was happy to go off with Emma and settled quickly, she appeared to love being part of the pack! Emma has CCTV inside and outside of her home for extra security. This is good for when you’re dropping off and picking up as Emma kindly asks that you wait by your car and she comes out to you, this way the sound of knocking or a door bell doesn’t send the whole house into a barking frenzy.
Emma requested a copy of my dog’s vaccination card which must be up to date and my dog’s food. Emma continued to feed my dog as she is at home, this way her tummy wasn’t upset with the introduction of anything new. However, Emma does have an endless supply of treats, I’m sure!
I felt reassured with the attention to detail that went into the forms needed before I left my pup. Emma really made sure she had a full picture. From her likes and dislikes to how she likes to eat and sleep.
As well as the ‘play field’ Emma, with her partner, took my dog and the pack off on walks up into the forest. With a special ‘dog van’ the dogs go and have the most incredible walk in stunning countryside. My dog was off lead, but others were on a long line for extra security if needed. I was kept up to date every day with photos and videos of my dog having an absolute ball. Emma is a wonderful photographer.
I am beyond grateful that Emma has made it so easy for me to leave my pup and I’m so thankful for her love and genuine kindness. My dog is looking forward to her next holiday and all of the dogs that are staying in the meantime are extremely lucky.

We literally could not recommend Emma enough, i believe our dog enjoys going there more than she like being at home sometimes! She loves Emma and it shows each time we drop her off. We would be lost without being able to have the service that Emma offers. If anyone is considering the benefits of home boarding over kennels, for me, there is no comparison, your pet is 'at home' but with the added bonus of being the centre of attention, that most don't even get at their actual home (not to that extent anyway). All the dogs are like family to Emma and again that is clear, dogs feelings are very clear based on how they react to people, the whole body wags, usually are a good giveaway! 100% recommend.

We were blown away by Emma’s knowledge, experience and fabulous facilities she offers. We went to view and knew straight away that it was a fabulous environment for a working cocker spaniel. We had every faith that she was the right person to look after our boy. Emma’s attention to detail put our minds at rest that she has each individual dog’s best interest at heart. Zippy went for a trial session and settled well. When we were away, we looked forward to seeing photos and videos of him run around and play with his new friends. Such a joy to see and be reassured that was also having a fabulous holiday. I think it was Love Island for dogs for sure.

When we needed someone to care for our Westie Gracie, we were looking for somewhere where it was like a home from home and in a safe environment. We found Emma!
What a wonderful, caring lady she is. From the moment we spoke to Emma on the phone to our first meeting she showed such kindness, and we could tell she loved all the dogs.
We had a couple of 3-hour trials and then an overnight stay to make sure Gracie was happy being left, but we need not have worried. Emma introduced her to the dogs she had staying with her slowly and Gracie had the time of her life racing round Emma’s large paddock which is highly secure.
We later had our holiday, and Gracie had her holiday with Emma and the other dogs. We were completely happy leaving her with Emma knowing she would be well cared for in her home. We had photos and videos every single night which was really lovely seeing Gracie racing round so happy.
When we collected Gracie to come home, she was quiet for a day or two missing Emma and all her friends.
We cannot thank Emma enough for all her kindness and care she gives to all the dogs in her care.
We are so confident with Emma we have already booked up with her for next year.

We are so blessed to have found Emma to look after our boy. Emma is qualified, licensed, insured, and canine first aid trained – welfare is paramount.
Emma welcomed our boy with such love, taking time to get to know him, introducing him to the other dogs slowly and taking time to understand what he needed to make him feel safe and happy. We could not have wished for a better place for him to go for day-care and to board.
He has a wonderful time, living his best life, playing, and chilling with Emma and all his friends in Emmas wonderful, safe secure home and gardens. Emma really cares for all the dogs she looks after. Playing with them, taking them for walks and generally loving them as if they were her own.

How fortunate are we to have found Emma’s Dog House. From the introduction meeting it was clear that Emma was a dog lover and has a totally professional and efficient business. Her friendly and relaxed approach gave us confidence that our dog, Max would be well cared for. Due to a family holiday which we really had to go on with grandchildren coming from Thailand, we were in a huge dilemma about our older, much loved dog Crumble. Thank goodness we found Emma. She is one of the kindest most knowledgeable women I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She looked after Crumble as if she was part of her family and sent us daily videos and updates. Crumble had the best time and was obvious from the videos how happy she was. Cannot recommend Emma enough, we would never use anyone else.

When looking for someone to care for our two Cavalier King Charles spaniels when we go away, we were delighted to find Emma's very professional web site. From the first time we met Emma, it was clear that she not only provides a professional service, but she really cares for every single dog lucky enough to be staying with her.
When we are away, Emma sends photos, and sometimes a video, so we can see them playing in her large garden with the other dogs, or sleeping in the immaculately clean and tidy doggy bedroom, or chilling out in her comfortable living room watching TV.
Knowing our dogs are having such a great time, and not missing us one bit, enables us to relax and thoroughly enjoy our holiday.
However, I'm not sure it is wise for us to give Emma such a good review, because it would be better for us if Emma's Dog House was a "best kept secret" so that she always has space for our dogs, and isn't fully booked!

Emma always has the doggies welfare at the heart of all she does, making sure they are comfortable within the boarding environment, happy amongst the other doggies - and even making sure they are kept cool during the hottest of days within a special air conditioned room
There is plenty of exercise space at the property, and good local woodland walks. Regular updates and photos are sent through (often showing Molly snoozing, or with her favourite tennis ball)
Molly loves going to Emma’s, the fuss and cuddles, and being with the other doggies - we would definitely recommend Emma

We were recommended to Emma’s Dog House by our local vet to look after our very young miniature wire haired Dachshund whilst away. We have never looked back after countless stays.
From the moment of arrival until collection the love, care and professionalism that Emma and her team shower on Doris is truly remarkable.
We are kept informed of her daily activities by beautiful pictures or videos and can have worry free stays away fully knowing that our little treasure is enjoying a home from home experience herself. Absolutely wonderful! 5 star care and attention. I am so happy to have found Emma to look after my pug Bertie. Right from the first meeting I had confidence in Emma’s experience and ability to provide a loving calm and safe environment. Bertie stayed 8 nights, during which Emma sent loads of pictures of Bertie having fun, playing, snoozing, walking in the woods. It was very reassuring, l felt like my dog was having a holiday too. It really was home care with lovely beds and sofas to snuggle on and spacious gardens to run and play in.

Well just what can I say about Emma’s Doghouse, in a nutshell Emma offered a 100% gold star service to our beloved pooch. It is most definitely an exceptional & professional home from home boarding service. I did have a look at other places & nothing came close. We had never left our beautiful golden overnight before, so this was her 1st time and she stayed a total of 11nights/12days.
As for most people it’s a nervous time for us owners who worry so desperately that our poochies will be ok and that they will be loved and looked after how we would want them to be, and I can honestly say Honey had the most amazing time, so much so we got a bit nervous she would not want to come home. Although very excited to see us especially when we got home, I still think for the 1st 2 days she missed being at Emma’s Dog House.
Emma runs an extremely professional service from the 1st email contact to 1st meet and trial day, Emma immediately put my mind at rest. The communication/information pack required information on vaccinations, food, pooches likes/dislikes etc etc all covered with ease. Emma most definitely has the poochies welfare at the heart of her service. It was a huge bonus knowing she has such a vast experience working with animals, and of course being trained on first aid and emergency care. Our pooch was certainly in a caring, loving & safe environment. In addition there was no judgement from Emma of any sort, particularly as with most our dogs they have minds of their own and don’t often behave in the way we would wish, honey is certainly one of those, she can be stubborn on times with very selective recall - inevitably down to my poor training technique when she was a puppy!
The outside space is just perfect especially for a pooch that likes the outdoors. It’s a great space all round for running and playing and downtime.
The Handing Honey over was slick and efficient and gave no time to have any drawn out goodbyes saving me that teary moment, honey on the other hand was just super excited, as suggested by Emma the trial day certainly gave her familiarity, hence the excitement.
Emma sent daily updates which was amazing, she certainly went above and beyond. We looked forward to the daily updates to see what Honey had been up to and we were never disappointed, we could tell by her rather large happy face, definitely no sulking going on!. Some of the action shots of her playing gave us a real feel for the fun she was having, just priceless beautiful pictures all round. We also knew she had settled perfectly, she ate all of her food from day one, this is always a good sign for Honey. Honey came home in immaculate condition, beautifully soft coat and in fab shape from all the playing, that would be one huge tick with the vets for me (but I can’t take the credit there)
I will most definitely be booking Honey in again so will need to get myself organised and book ahead. It’s so lovey to find a perfect place for our pooch to stay when she is unable to come on a trip with us. Emma is amazing! She's a true dog lover and a true professional, who offers a genuine home-from-home with an outstanding and rigourously thought-through environment and level of care . Her calm, patient and, above all, loving and understanding approach means our dog Linus has found a second home where he is relaxed and happy. It's brilliant for us to leave him, totally safe in the knowledge that he's having great fun and is loved almost as much as in our home! She's also good at managing humans and keeping us up-dated, so I couldn't recommed Emma more highly (but I almost want to keep her our special secret!!)

We can’t recommend Emma enough for the love and care that she gave to Max whilst we were away. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that Max was having THE best time - the daily photos from Emma proved that we had made the right choice: Max was spending the day chasing around the garden with his new friends, playing with toys and enjoying woodland walks and splashing in the stream and paddling pool. Emma enriches the dogs day by providing a varied and stimulating environment for them to play in.
Emma is lovely and genuinely loves all the dogs that she cares for and is only too happy to let them sleep on her sofas ensuring that they feel safe and in a home environment rather than locked up in kennels. Max absolutely loves being with Emma and her dogs and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her.

Our rescue dog Peggy is 6 years old and had never spent a night away from us. We are so pleased to have found Emma and her wonderful dog house. Peggy loves it!
Emma is totally professional and certainly knows her doggy stuff. She has the care and the love of dogs, at the heart of her business, which is what you want for your best furry friend.
Peggy was a bit unsure to begin with, because she is wary of unknown circumstances, but with a couple of ‘try out, half days’ and the care and attention of Emma, Peggy soon settled into it. She had 2 nights stay and loved it. She was totally relaxed when we picked her up, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma to other dog owners.
Emma communicates really clearly and the photo updates make you feel really connected to the dog house. The facilities are fabulous, doggy heaven. Thanks Emma. What a star. See you soon.

We are so happy we found Emma to look after our big pup Lenny. Even now I’m on maternity leave, Lenny still boards with Emma one day a week as he absolutely adores her and has made lots of doggy pals. Finding Emma to care for our little jack Russell was a huge plus during lockdown- meaning that we could leave her in Emma’s care with complete confidence. Bonnie loves the happy, friendly, relaxed environment provided by Emma and the photos and videos Emma sends after her visits are so welcome, showing Bonnie thoroughly enjoying being ‘a dog’ in the safe play area as well as indoors. Bonnie’s first overnight stay was a complete success and knowing we can now leave Bonnie for longer stays is very reassuring. We used Emmas Dog House for the first time over Christmas for our 8 year old Labrador Archie who had not been away from home previously. After a couple of taster visits, it was very clear to see that Archie was happy and settled with Emma. During his 6 day stay we were regularly updated on a daily basis of his experiences accompanied by photographs, all of which, gave us peace of mind and reassurance that he was happy, content and well loved. Archie is now home and clearly missing Emma and all his friends. We are so delighted with the outcome we have already booked again for next year. We can fully recommend Emmas Dog House, the facilities are perfect and in such a lovely rural setting.

We are SO very happy we found Emma. She is amazing with the dogs! Our little one is picky about who she goes to and cuddles with but she went straight over to Emma to have cuddles and a big fuss. She was so well looked after whilst we went away. It was the first time we had left her and Emma made sure she had a day to trial being there and settle in/meet her dogs beforehand. We were absolutely chuffed to receive picture/video updates and can't believe that our little monster wriggled her way into the human bed and was made so welcome there for the night!! Every picture and video we received had a wiggly bum and a grinning dog and that made our holiday. Emma is kind, patient and has the biggest heart for dogs, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Emma’s Dog House is a fantastic place for both daycare and longer stays for any much loved dog. Emma manages to combine professionalism with a friendly fun atmosphere. Treacle absolutely loves spending time there - he leaps out of the car and runs to her on every visit and always has a great time, lots of exercise and play with other dogs as well as lots of cuddles from Emma and comes back happy and tired out. We recently left Treacle with her for a week’s holiday and were able to go away without any worries about him being well looked after and cared for. Emma sent regular pictures to update us and he obviously had a lovely time, not sure he really wanted to come home again. Can’t recommend Emma highly enough.

Emma is brilliant, communication both before and whilst you dog is in her care is second to none. Rest assured your dog will be having a brilliant time when they are with Emma. She sends regular updates with pictures, so that you can see that your dog is having just such a wonderful time.
I love that fact that Emma does a half or full trial day, and she really looks after the dogs, with lots of cuddles!
When we drop Betty off she goes rushing in to see all her friends, and does not look back to say goodbye!!

So pleased to have found Emma’s dog house! We needed a quality dog home boarding service for our 3 year old pug and Emma’s dog house was recommended to us. We were able to go away completely at ease that Mabel was also having a lovely time and knew that she would be safe and well cared for. There was an introductory period prior to Mabel boarding that included a visit with us and then a stay and play for a few hours for her so that we could all be sure she would settle ok and the registration paperwork is sure to capture all of the necessary details to make sure that the stay is successful. We knew that Mabel was going to have a great time as as soon as we pulled up for her 2nd visit and she couldn’t wait to get in and see her new doggy friends. Lots of photos were sent to us during the time that Mabel was at Emma’s dog house and we could see she had very much made herself at home! Would absolutely recommend Emma’s dog house if you are looking for a quality pet service as either a day or overnight facility.

Edith Woofferton Blue is our blue Staffordshire bull terrier. Edith recently holidayed at Emma’s house and we can honestly say that she had a fantastic holiday, (possibly better than ours!!). Edith made so many new friends and we were updated on a regular basis with photos and stories which made sure that we too had a fantastic, relaxed holiday.
Edith is rather spoilt by us, but not a backward glance when we left her with Emma.

I’m speaking on behalf of Ruby, our gorgeous golden retriever. Ruby said that if she ever had to find a new home she would look no further than Emma’s, Ruby couldn’t speak highly enough of the love, care and attention she received while we were on holiday.
For our part we cannot say how pleased we were with all the updates from Emma, we can tell this is not just a business, Emma truly loves and cares for all the dogs that reside with her, they truly become one of the family, so much so that we were worried Ruby may not want to come home.

Emma is knowledgeable, experienced, very loving and highly professional. Her detailed questionnaire and insistence on a trial day, inspire confidence and any doubts are dispelled on meeting her. I was reluctant to leave my dog ANYwhere after an unhappy experience with another dog elsewhere but when the day came to leave her, the way she greeted Emma left me in no doubt that my dog was going to have a fun holiday - & she did! The photos are clear proof. Emma has a clear insight into the character of each dog. The secure field is a great bonus & the dogs have a large area in which to get to know each other, play & race to their hearts content - and there are walks & cuddles too.

We've been regularly using Emma to look after our 20 month old black lab Doug since he was 6 months old. He absolutely loves his time at Emma's playing with the other dogs and always comes home exhausted so we usually enjoy a quiet time the following day too! What can we say! Absolutely brilliant. Our Springer Spaniel, Maggie, is not always particularly sociable and can be quite nervous. We didn’t want to put her into kennels as she is so active and a week in a kennel would drive her demented. So, we found Emma and went from being pretty apprehensive to fully relaxed after just one visit. Maggie loved Emma and Emma loved Maggie. In fact, Maggie didn’t want to come home with us at the end of the week. If that isn’t an approval, I don’t know what is!

What a find. Truly home from home Jack was treated like one of the family. Emma took time and great care to integrate him with the other dogs. When I picked him up after 2weeks he was so chilled and happy. The regular photos and videos showed what a great time he was having. He made great doggy friends ( and human ones!). Emma and her family were so caring treating him as if he were their own. First holiday I have had without worrying about someone else looking after him. I will definitely be using Emma again and can’t recommend her highly enough.

Picked Dodger up yesterday after another fantastic 'sleepover'. The love and care that Emma provides is literally second to none. The guys have the run of the huge, fully enclosed grounds and stay in the house. There is also a great fenced off 'Chill-out' zone, available if they need a little peace and quiet. They are given walks around the adjacent countryside, and are all treated like a permanent member of Emma's family.

Just picked up a very clean and polished border collie who had spent two weeks with Emma.
He was in better condition than when he went there! Emma is marvellous she took care of my boy as if he was her own. We couldn’t have been happier with his care. Our boy is rather demanding and bossy, rather particular with who he makes friends with. On venturing to Emma’s for the first time he ran straight in checking everything out and happily settled by Emma’s feet. I knew I had found his home from home.

Emma's Dog House is a wonderful place and Emma shows great knowledge and a deep understanding of dogs. Her whole house is given over to the care of dogs so they really are in a home from home environment and her grounds are superb with plenty of space for the dogs to exercise and play.
We boarded two Labradors with her whilst we had a short break over the New Year period. Our Labrador is very chilled but our daughter's had never stayed at anyone else's house before apart from ours and we weren't sure how she would be. Emma is very careful over the initial introduction of dogs and this ensures that they are given the time to adjust to their new surroundings, to her and her family and to the other dogs. Our daughter's dog did take a while to settle but Emma showed her great kindness and reassurance and by the time we collected her she had thoroughly enjoyed her holiday too.
I feel very lucky to have found Emma and do not hesitate in recommending her to look after your fur baby. They are treated as part of Emma's family and they will return home to you having had a glorious holiday too!!

Had to find someone to take care of our miniature schnauzer Piper when a family member who usually does wasn't available.We had never left Piper with a stranger before and was naturally worried how things would go. After trawling the internet we came across Emma's Dog House.
We made contact and had a pre visit then went off on holiday leaving Piper in Emma's care.
Any apprehensions soon disappeared, we were contacted very regularly with photos video and updates as to how Piper was doing and could see Piper was having a ball, new play mates, great garden and paddock to run around in and buckets of cuddles and affection from Emma and her mum.
A dog who was normally timid with other dogs and a very picky eater was suddenly racing around with all the other dogs who were staying and eating up her food with gusto.
Not only were we able to enjoy our holiday with piece of mind but Piper had the best of times.
If you want the best for your treasured doggy friend then, we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Emma's Dog House, your pet is cared for and treated like one of the family.

We certainly hit the jackpot when we found Emma's Dog House. It is a completely different experience to kennels - a beautiful home from home for our lurcher. From initial contact, it was clear that Emma knew her stuff and had an understanding about how to introduce Fred gently to the new environment and doggy buddies. She encouraged me to look around prior to Fred's stay and the clear paperwork and information I was given, left me feeling 100% confident. Although she was not obliged to, Emma sent us reassuring updates and videos. Seeing Fred sprint around the large field looking completely happy was worth its weight in gold.

As Abbie is an old dog and has been totally pampered all her life, we were worried about leaving her when we went on holiday. We should not have bothered! Abbie was looked after so well by Emma and her Mum, every want (and Abbie has lots of wants!) was catered for. She was allowed to have lots of exercise whenever she wanted it and she was encouraged to "be a dog" and mix with lots of other dogs in a supervised way. Abbie is deaf and has a small amount of eyesight left but joined in and enjoyed herself. When she came home, I noticed that she missed the company of other dogs and also misses Emma and her Mum. My miniature schnauzer, Scout, was made most welcome by both Emma and her lovely mum, Wendy. She had a two hour “trial” stay which must have helped her psychologically for the real thing. There are lovely paddocks for completely safe exercising and great care is taken by Emma to understand the dog’s usual habits and routine. I felt quite happy to leave her and it was great to get so many text updates on how things were going.

Barney, our Cockapoo who is 1 year old, has never spent a night away from us. Circumstances arose that we had to find accommodation for him for 1 night. On a recommendation we contacted Emma who advised that we visited her a couple of times and left Barney for short stays in order to familiarise him with her dogs and home. I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am to have found Emma’s dog house, it is truly amazing.
When I set out on my quest to find a doggy daycare, I soon became very anxious with what was on offer. To me this was similar to finding a nursery for my children! I was not willing to leave my adorable and very spoilt pup with just anyone! Thankfully I found Emma and was totally blown away, her home is a million miles away from kennels that’s for sure!
Upon meeting Emma, I was struck by her calming nature and attention to detail! Her genuine love of dogs is apparent, and it was very clear that my dog’s welfare was paramount. Emma has a wealth of canine experience and has set up the most wonderful environment. Cosy welcoming home with every shape and size dog bed in the kitchen and lounge you could find and yes, your dog is allowed on the sofa or arm chair! Beautiful gardens leading down into the ‘play field’ with a mixture of agility equipment and secure double fenced boundary so no pup can go wandering off.
In the lead up to my booking Emma arranged 2 ‘settling in’ sessions showing again that my dog’s welfare was paramount. My dog was happy to go off with Emma and settled quickly, she appeared to love being part of the pack! Emma has CCTV inside and outside of her home for extra security. This is good for when you’re dropping off and picking up as Emma kindly asks that you wait by your car and she comes out to you, this way the sound of knocking or a door bell doesn’t send the whole house into a barking frenzy.
Emma requested a copy of my dog’s vaccination card which must be up to date and my dog’s food. Emma continued to feed my dog as she is at home, this way her tummy wasn’t upset with the introduction of anything new. However, Emma does have an endless supply of treats, I’m sure!
I felt reassured with the attention to detail that went into the forms needed before I left my pup. Emma really made sure she had a full picture. From her likes and dislikes to how she likes to eat and sleep.
As well as the ‘play field’ Emma, with her partner, took my dog and the pack off on walks up into the forest. With a special ‘dog van’ the dogs go and have the most incredible walk in stunning countryside. My dog was off lead, but others were on a long line for extra security if needed. I was kept up to date every day with photos and videos of my dog having an absolute ball. Emma is a wonderful photographer.
I am beyond grateful that Emma has made it so easy for me to leave my pup and I’m so thankful for her love and genuine kindness. My dog is looking forward to her next holiday and all of the dogs that are staying in the meantime are extremely lucky.

We literally could not recommend Emma enough, i believe our dog enjoys going there more than she like being at home sometimes! She loves Emma and it shows each time we drop her off. We would be lost without being able to have the service that Emma offers. If anyone is considering the benefits of home boarding over kennels, for me, there is no comparison, your pet is 'at home' but with the added bonus of being the centre of attention, that most don't even get at their actual home (not to that extent anyway). All the dogs are like family to Emma and again that is clear, dogs feelings are very clear based on how they react to people, the whole body wags, usually are a good giveaway! 100% recommend.

When we needed someone to care for our Westie Gracie, we were looking for somewhere where it was like a home from home and in a safe environment. We found Emma!
What a wonderful, caring lady she is. From the moment we spoke to Emma on the phone to our first meeting she showed such kindness, and we could tell she loved all the dogs.
We had a couple of 3-hour trials and then an overnight stay to make sure Gracie was happy being left, but we need not have worried. Emma introduced her to the dogs she had staying with her slowly and Gracie had the time of her life racing round Emma’s large paddock which is highly secure.
We later had our holiday, and Gracie had her holiday with Emma and the other dogs. We were completely happy leaving her with Emma knowing she would be well cared for in her home. We had photos and videos every single night which was really lovely seeing Gracie racing round so happy.
When we collected Gracie to come home, she was quiet for a day or two missing Emma and all her friends.
We cannot thank Emma enough for all her kindness and care she gives to all the dogs in her care.
We are so confident with Emma we have already booked up with her for next year.

Due to a family holiday which we really had to go on with grandchildren coming from Thailand, we were in a huge dilemma about our older, much loved dog Crumble. Thank goodness we found Emma. When looking for someone to care for our two Cavalier King Charles spaniels when we go away, we were delighted to find Emma's very professional web site. From the first time we met Emma, it was clear that she not only provides a professional service, but she really cares for every single dog lucky enough to be staying with her.
When we are away, Emma sends photos, and sometimes a video, so we can see them playing in her large garden with the other dogs, or sleeping in the immaculately clean and tidy doggy bedroom, or chilling out in her comfortable living room watching TV.

Absolutely wonderful! 5 star care and attention. I am so happy to have found Emma to look after my pug Bertie. Right from the first meeting I had confidence in Emma’s experience and ability to provide a loving calm and safe environment. Bertie stayed 8 nights, during which Emma sent loads of pictures of Bertie having fun, playing, snoozing, walking in the woods. It was very reassuring, l felt like my dog was having a holiday too. Well just what can I say about Emma’s Doghouse, in a nutshell Emma offered a 100% gold star service to our beloved pooch. It is most definitely an exceptional & professional home from home boarding service. I did have a look at other places & nothing came close. We had never left our beautiful golden overnight before, so this was her 1st time and she stayed a total of 11nights/12days.
As for most people it’s a nervous time for us owners who worry so desperately that our poochies will be ok and that they will be loved and looked after how we would want them to be, and I can honestly say Honey had the most amazing time, so much so we got a bit nervous she would not want to come home. Although very excited to see us especially when we got home, I still think for the 1st 2 days she missed being at Emma’s Dog House.
Emma runs an extremely professional service from the 1st email contact to 1st meet and trial day, Emma immediately put my mind at rest. The communication/information pack required information on vaccinations, food, pooches likes/dislikes etc etc all covered with ease. Emma most definitely has the poochies welfare at the heart of her service. It was a huge bonus knowing she has such a vast experience working with animals, and of course being trained on first aid and emergency care. Our pooch was certainly in a caring, loving & safe environment. In addition there was no judgement from Emma of any sort, particularly as with most our dogs they have minds of their own and don’t often behave in the way we would wish, honey is certainly one of those, she can be stubborn on times with very selective recall - inevitably down to my poor training technique when she was a puppy!
The outside space is just perfect especially for a pooch that likes the outdoors. It’s a great space all round for running and playing and downtime.
The Handing Honey over was slick and efficient and gave no time to have any drawn out goodbyes saving me that teary moment, honey on the other hand was just super excited, as suggested by Emma the trial day certainly gave her familiarity, hence the excitement.
Emma sent daily updates which was amazing, she certainly went above and beyond. We looked forward to the daily updates to see what Honey had been up to and we were never disappointed, we could tell by her rather large happy face, definitely no sulking going on!. Some of the action shots of her playing gave us a real feel for the fun she was having, just priceless beautiful pictures all round. We also knew she had settled perfectly, she ate all of her food from day one, this is always a good sign for Honey. Honey came home in immaculate condition, beautifully soft coat and in fab shape from all the playing, that would be one huge tick with the vets for me (but I can’t take the credit there)
I will most definitely be booking Honey in again so will need to get myself organised and book ahead. It’s so lovey to find a perfect place for our pooch to stay when she is unable to come on a trip with us. Emma is amazing! She's a true dog lover and a true professional, who offers a genuine home-from-home with an outstanding and rigourously thought-through environment and level of care . Her calm, patient and, above all, loving and understanding approach means our dog Linus has found a second home where he is relaxed and happy. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that Max was having THE best time - the daily photos from Emma proved that we had made the right choice: Max was spending the day chasing around the garden with his new friends, playing with toys and enjoying woodland walks and splashing in the stream and paddling pool. Emma enriches the dogs day by providing a varied and stimulating environment for them to play in.

After a couple of taster visits, it was very clear to see that Archie was happy and settled with Emma. During his 6 day stay we were regularly updated on a daily basis of his experiences accompanied by photographs, all of which, gave us peace of mind and reassurance that he was happy, content and well loved. Archie is now home and clearly missing Emma and all his friends. We are so delighted with the outcome we have already booked again for next year. We can fully recommend Emmas Dog House, the facilities are perfect and in such a lovely rural setting.

We are SO very happy we found Emma. She is amazing with the dogs! Our little one is picky about who she goes to and cuddles with but she went straight over to Emma to have cuddles and a big fuss. She was so well looked after whilst we went away. It was the first time we had left her and Emma made sure she had a day to trial being there and settle in/meet her dogs beforehand. We were absolutely chuffed to receive picture/video updates and can't believe that our little monster wriggled her way into the human bed and was made so welcome there for the night!! Every picture and video we received had a wiggly bum and a grinning dog and that made our holiday. Emma is kind, patient and has the biggest heart for dogs, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. It was very obvious that she treated our girl like her own - thank you so much Emma, she can't wait to come back for more!

Emma’s Dog House is a fantastic place for both daycare and longer stays for any much loved dog. Emma manages to combine professionalism with a friendly fun atmosphere. Treacle absolutely loves spending time there - he leaps out of the car and runs to her on every visit and always has a great time, lots of exercise and play with other dogs as well as lots of cuddles from Emma and comes back happy and tired out. We recently left Treacle with her for a week’s holiday and were able to go away without any worries about him being well looked after and cared for. Emma sent regular pictures to update us and he obviously had a lovely time, not sure he really wanted to come home again. Can’t recommend Emma highly enough.

We were able to go away completely at ease that Mabel was also having a lovely time and knew that she would be safe and well cared for. There was an introductory period prior to Mabel boarding that included a visit with us and then a stay and play for a few hours for her so that we could all be sure she would settle ok and the registration paperwork is sure to capture all of the necessary details to make sure that the stay is successful. We knew that Mabel was going to have a great time as as soon as we pulled up for her 2nd visit and she couldn’t wait to get in and see her new doggy friends. Lots of photos were sent to us during the time that Mabel was at Emma’s dog house and we could see she had very much made herself at home! Edith Woofferton Blue is our blue Staffordshire bull terrier. Edith recently holidayed at Emma’s house and we can honestly say that she had a fantastic holiday, (possibly better than ours!!). Edith made so many new friends and we were updated on a regular basis with photos and stories which made sure that we too had a fantastic, relaxed holiday.

Emma is knowledgeable, experienced, very loving and highly professional. Her detailed questionnaire and insistence on a trial day, inspire confidence and any doubts are dispelled on meeting her. I was reluctant to leave my dog ANYwhere after an unhappy experience with another dog elsewhere but when the day came to leave her, the way she greeted Emma left me in no doubt that my dog was going to have a fun holiday - & she did! The photos are clear proof. Emma has a clear insight into the character of each dog. The secure field is a great bonus & the dogs have a large area in which to get to know each other, play & race to their hearts content - and there are walks & cuddles too.

What can we say! Absolutely brilliant. Our Springer Spaniel, Maggie, is not always particularly sociable and can be quite nervous. We didn’t want to put her into kennels as she is so active and a week in a kennel would drive her demented. So, we found Emma and went from being pretty apprehensive to fully relaxed after just one visit. Maggie loved Emma and Emma loved Maggie. In fact, Maggie didn’t want to come home with us at the end of the week. If that isn’t an approval, I don’t know what is!

What a find. Truly home from home Jack was treated like one of the family. Emma took time and great care to integrate him with the other dogs. When I picked him up after 2weeks he was so chilled and happy. The regular photos and videos showed what a great time he was having. He made great doggy friends ( and human ones!). Emma and her family were so caring treating him as if he were their own. First holiday I have had without worrying about someone else looking after him. Picked Dodger up yesterday after another fantastic 'sleepover'. The love and care that Emma provides is literally second to none. The guys have the run of the huge, fully enclosed grounds and stay in the house. There is also a great fenced off 'Chill-out' zone, available if they need a little peace and quiet. They are given walks around the adjacent countryside, and are all treated like a permanent member of Emma's family.

Just picked up a very clean and polished border collie who had spent two weeks with Emma.
He was in better condition than when he went there! Emma is marvellous she took care of my boy as if he was her own. We couldn’t have been happier with his care. Our boy is rather demanding and bossy, rather particular with who he makes friends with. On venturing to Emma’s for the first time he ran straight in checking everything out and happily settled by Emma’s feet. I knew I had found his home from home.

Emma's Dog House is a wonderful place and Emma shows great knowledge and a deep understanding of dogs. Her whole house is given over to the care of dogs so they really are in a home from home environment and her grounds are superb with plenty of space for the dogs to exercise and play.
We boarded two Labradors with her whilst we had a short break over the New Year period. Our Labrador is very chilled but our daughter's had never stayed at anyone else's house before apart from ours and we weren't sure how she would be. Emma is very careful over the initial introduction of dogs and this ensures that they are given the time to adjust to their new surroundings, to her and her family and to the other dogs. Our daughter's dog did take a while to settle but Emma showed her great kindness and reassurance and by the time we collected her she had thoroughly enjoyed her holiday too.
I feel very lucky to have found Emma and do not hesitate in recommending her to look after your fur baby. They are treated as part of Emma's family and they will return home to you having had a glorious holiday too!!

Simply the best!
Had to find someone to take care of our miniature schnauzer Piper when a family member who usually does wasn't available.We had never left Piper with a stranger before and was naturally worried how things would go. After trawling the internet we came across Emma's Dog House.
We made contact and had a pre visit then went off on holiday leaving Piper in Emma's care.
Any apprehensions soon disappeared, we were contacted very regularly with photos video and updates as to how Piper was doing and could see Piper was having a ball, new play mates, great garden and paddock to run around in and buckets of cuddles and affection from Emma and her mum.
A dog who was normally timid with other dogs and a very picky eater was suddenly racing around with all the other dogs who were staying and eating up her food with gusto.
Not only were we able to enjoy our holiday with piece of mind but Piper had the best of times.
If you want the best for your treasured doggy friend then, we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Emma's Dog House, your pet is cared for and treated like one of the family.

We certainly hit the jackpot when we found Emma's Dog House. It is a completely different experience to kennels - a beautiful home from home for our lurcher. From initial contact, it was clear that Emma knew her stuff and had an understanding about how to introduce Fred gently to the new environment and doggy buddies. She encouraged me to look around prior to Fred's stay and the clear paperwork and information I was given, left me feeling 100% confident. Although she was not obliged to, Emma sent us reassuring updates and videos. Seeing Fred sprint around the large field looking completely happy was worth its weight in gold.

As Abbie is an old dog and has been totally pampered all her life, we were worried about leaving her when we went on holiday. We should not have bothered! Abbie was looked after so well by Emma and her Mum, every want (and Abbie has lots of wants!) was catered for. She was allowed to have lots of exercise whenever she wanted it and she was encouraged to "be a dog" and mix with lots of other dogs in a supervised way. Abbie is deaf and has a small amount of eyesight left but joined in and enjoyed herself. When she came home, I noticed that she missed the company of other dogs and also misses Emma and her Mum. Abbie has another holiday with Emma booked soon and this time I will have NO worries at all. My miniature schnauzer, Scout, was made most welcome by both Emma and her lovely mum, Wendy. She had a two hour “trial” stay which must have helped her psychologically for the real thing. There are lovely paddocks for completely safe exercising and great care is taken by Emma to understand the dog’s usual habits and routine. I felt quite happy to leave her and it was great to get so many text updates on how things were going.

Barney, our Cockapoo who is 1 year old, has never spent a night away from us. Circumstances arose that we had to find accommodation for him for 1 night. On a recommendation we contacted Emma who advised that we visited her a couple of times and left Barney for short stays in order to familiarise him with her dogs and home.
