Pre Booking Information
Please read all the information below and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or to discuss your dogs requirements.

Viewing and Trials
Because we offer a very personal care service we ask that you come and meet us and see where your dog would be staying before we accept a booking. After this, and if you decide you would like us to look after your dog, we ask that your dog has a day trial with us. This helps us see if your dog will feel comfortable enough to settle and also offers them a chance to spend time with us and get to know our house and grounds. If you would like your dog to board, then as part of our licence requirements your dog will need to also have a trail night before we can take a booking for boarding. Trials give you, your dog and us the opportunity to make sure everyone is happy and most importantly your dog feels safe, loved and cared for before we will register you and your dog on our books and accept a booking to board.
Behaviour
As our visiting dogs live together and with us it is imperative that they are well socialised and get on with other dogs. For this reason we do not accept dogs with any aggressive tendencies.
Neutered & Spayed
As the dogs live in our home and play together we have to ask that all dogs and bitches must be neutered or spayed. This is to avoid the obvious and to maintain a stress free happy, friendly, safe environment for all our canine guests.
Vaccinations
Your up to date vaccination card MUST accompany your dog and be left with us or your dog will have to be refused under Herefordshire Licensing regulations. Kennel Cough however, is not obligatory under home boarding regulation so we do not insist on this and leave the decision up to each client.
Please note: If your dog has had a kennel cough injection he or she will not be able to come for 6 weeks as it is a live vaccination.
Age
> Young dogs - Due to changes in the licensing regulations, we sadly no longer look after dogs under 1
> Older dogs - We only accept dogs over the age of 10 for boarding if they have been on our books and become older. For new dogs age 10 and over we only offer day care.
Boarding
Your dog can sleep with other guests, have their own room, or if they are used to sleeping on your bed - we offer that too!
If your dog is crate trained and you wish us to continue this we have small to giant size crates available.
Feeding
If your dog is boarding we ask that you supply your dogs food for the duration of their stay because this provides important continuity for your dog, and prevents any digestive upsets from a change of diet. If your dog is staying for the day but not being picked up untill the evening we ask that you bring a meal for your dog so they are not left out when the dogs get fed at 5pm.
If your dog is used to freshly prepared and cooked meat there is a £1.50 per day surcharge.
The Dogs Come First
We do not automatically book dogs in just because we have space as we always take into consideration who is with us so we can match compatibility.
Security
We take security very seriously! We are not open to the public and you will not find us on Google maps! We only work on an appointment basis. We are not on a main road and we do not advertise our location. There is CCTV externally and internally on the property and the dogs are never left. There is always someone on the property 24/7 without exception.
Dates and Times
Due to limited parking and so owners do not arrive at the same time, we arrange arrival and pick up times when you make a booking. We will always try and be as flexible as possible for you.
Dog Safe Transport We offer a personalised collection and or return service, plus we can take your dog to their vet or grooming appointments while staying with us. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for more information.
